Ys9 page 01by ~effenndee

Fan Art / Manga & Anime / Digital / Books & Novels

This is a 10 page comic made with my friend ~arutea. Aru wrote the story and script and sketched the initial layouts for most of the pages and I did the arts. Aru was also the one who put the Japanese sounds effects in there XD This was work before Endzone so I've found it interesting to compare the Grampy comics and this haha.

It was made for an Australian local manga anthology called Generation ([link]) which Arutea told me about. We partnered because we both wanted to submit something but I couldn't think of an idea and she had lots of ideas but no time to work on the art. (Generation is by ~Poshua for any Aussie manga artists wanting to have a go ^^)

I'm stoked to say that it was selected for print XD. Next time I won't make it so dark though

*still has much to learn*

There are a game series called "Ys" but these 10 pages were not made in relation nor are affiliated with those games as far as I know (only learned about the games today
