This is my audition for

A grobby old man you say!?!?! For a battle-off?!?!
Grampy may be old but he has things going for him which can make him a very formidable opponent. For example, at the age of - he doesn't remember - Grampy managed to ingest his lucky star. What does this mean? It means every element of that ricketty body is oozing good luck.
But, like they say, too much good luck isn't always a good thing. And sometimes something that is good luck doesn't really appear good. For this reason, Grampy doesn't have any friends and spends his time socialising with his head-mushroom, 'Sroom'.
A mushroom!?!? On his head?!?! Yes with a perfect explanation: Grampy has a sad side effect... whenever he cries, it pours torrential rain on his surrounding area. He cries often enough to keep his head moist enough for Sroom to thrive on (warmth and humidity - key features).
